In today’s society, people from all walks of life are increasingly faced with daily pressures and challenges. Seaside Healthcare has a network of Louisiana Behavioral Health Services in Louisiana to specifically help people address these issues in their lives.
Seaside understands the family dynamic – and how one family member can uproot or challenge all members of the family. We also understand how one person’s issues can cascade beyond the family, and have an adverse impact on close friends, a neighborhood, an athletic team, a school classroom, or a place of employment.
Seaside’s Louisiana Behavioral Health Services are focused on identifying, involving, and helping all of those affected by behavioral or mental health issues. Our assessment helps pinpoint the nature and degree of disruption, while allowing us to develop a treatment approach that benefits all.

Crisis Intervention is a service we offer to all clients for those times when situations become overwhelming and help is needed to resolve a difficult issue. What is unique about our approach is this:
We can go to where the person and family are, and in a manner that is convenient and effective for them.
When emergency or crisis situations present themselves, families can contact Seaside 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and expect a rapid response.
In essence we provide care in the manner upon which healthcare was founded … taking care of people where they live.
Our approach to treatment is via the Seaside Treatment System (STS). STS is a strengths-based approach using Evidence-Based and Evidence-Informed Practices. From assessment to discharge, researched methods are the core of our helping process with defined expectations of quality services and outcomes for our patients.
We meet the special challenges of adolescents through a process called Multisystemic Therapy (MST). When working with young people, Seaside’s Louisiana Behavioral Health Services offer contact with the young person and his or her family on a daily basis at the outset – and continuing up to six months through a variety of therapeutic approaches.
Louisiana Behavioral Health Services utilizes Functional Family Therapy (FFT) to assist families in achieving their goals. FFT is a therapeutic model that is evidence-based and is used in helping troubled youth and their families to overcome behavior challenges in the home and community.
Across Louisiana, at all of our operating locations, we field a team of mental health and substance abuse professionals who can respond quickly and effectively to the needs of individuals of any age – as well as the needs of their families.
